Holidays in the Park

Holidays in the Park is a 3-week Village of The Hills community event hosted by the Parks & Recreation Commission meant to spark joy, create memories, and establish new traditions. Neighbors and community friends and supporters of The Hills Park will make a donation to decorate a tree with their own holiday-inspired creativity. All Hills residents are encouraged to view the trees and celebrate the kickoff and awards virtually (more information to follow).  For its inaugural year, 2020, trees will remain decorated from December 6th - December 26th.  

The Park hours will be extended to 8:00 PM for the duration of the event. 


Family Trees: Price includes text sign at base of tree. $ 40.00*

Community Trees:  Community Trees are for non-profits, scout troops, school groups and other community organized groups (for-profit businesses please see Sponsor Trees below). Price includes text sign at base of tree. $ 75.00*

Sponsor Trees: Perfect for local or national businesses who want to be a part of Christmas in the Park and expose their business to all our guests. Please send your company logo to Amy Wharton at Price includes logo or text sign at the base of the tree. $ 100.00*

We provide the tree and lights (1 strand per tree) and you provide the decorations.

*In addition to the sponsorship fee you will be invoiced an additional $100.00 if you do not un-decorate your tree by Sunday, December 27th between 9am and 5pm.  (exceptions/modifications to this rule can be made only if agreed upon IN ADVANCE.)

Proceeds will aid park beautification.


**Note:  The kickoff and awards will be virtual, due to the uptick in COVID cases.  Decorated trees can still be viewed in the park, as announced.**
